Mo Barrow’s 90th minute winner meant the shoe was very much on the other foot for Reading FC this weekend as they effectively relegated Ipswich Town with a vital late goal.

Reading FC went into the crucial home clash with Rotherham knowing that a win or defeat could be definitive for their fight against relegation. As it turns out, we got a draw.

Oh, the optimism of Wednesday night. Of overcoming a staunch opponent with a quality late goal that sent the fans home happy. Perhaps Sheffield United were always the worst team to face immediately after beating Blackburn at the Mad Stad, but just 45 seconds into Saturday’s trip north, Reading fans were given their first reason to worry.
