Marc is joined via Skype for this week's show by The Tilehurst End website editor Simeon Pickup, aka Bucks Royal, to discuss exactly where these two performances leave Reading and Jaap Stam.

You know what, Reading had their moments on Saturday. With a fresh homegrown striker up top and a bit of pizzazz about them, the Royals showed glimpses of taking a result off Middlesbrough amid a dire run under Jaap Stam.

However, as Steve 'Royal Hoops' Curtis puts it in TTE Podcast Episode 142, it was two steps forward and three steps back as the hosts eventually slumped to a 2-0 defeat.
