Podcast Extra - Charles Watts' Goodbye Show
Thursday Jul 13, 2017
Thursday Jul 13, 2017
In 2013 both TTE and Charles Watts were trying something new. Here at the site, we’d just launched a brand new podcast, while Charles was stepping into the shoes of Jonny Fordham at Get Reading/Reading Post. Four years later and all good things have to come to an end. After appearing on close to 100 shows, Charles moved to cover Arsenal in January but we couldn’t let him go without one final appearance to bring us his memories of covering the club, plus what he thinks may lay ahead.
So thanks to Charles for all the support and good times. While he’s moved on The Podcast Extra will return with a new co-host, so stay tuned for details of that in the next few weeks.

Interview Special: Councillor Ashley Pearce On Royal Elm Park Plans
Monday May 08, 2017
Monday May 08, 2017
The Podcast Extra makes a triumphant return as once again an expert sits down with TTE to thrash out the latest news around the club, and this week Marc talks to Reading Councillor Ashley Pearce to get to grips with Royal Elm Park.
After approval was awarded by the council to the club regarding the £500m development that will surround the Madejski Stadium, we put our concerns out in the form of 11 Questions To Ponder, and as a member of the planning committee overseeing the project, Ashley was kind enough to come on for a chat.
Covered in our conversation was the history of Royal Elm Park and the Mad Stad site, the speedway track, the housing and ice rink being built, the Green Park railway station plans, and much more.
