Well that was a pretty good week wasn't it for Reading? Our TTE Podcast co-hosts reunite to break down the 1-0 win over Leeds and 3-1 victory of Blackburn last night that's seen us move up to third in the Championship and nine points clear of the chasing pack.

We thought we'd try something new here at TTE, so here you can listen to the audio from our YouTube/Facebook video covering the Leeds game. This week sees Wimb & Handbags Harris give their verdicts on the game in detail, including thoughts on Yann's goal, Cooper's stamp, Monk's comments and more.
Given that this is a straight audio rip from what's designed to be a video show, there are a few visual references that won't make a lot of sense on a podcast but the vast majority works either way.

In a very special interview we talk to the man responsible for filling the shoes of the late, great Eamonn Dolan, Reading's new Academy Manager Lee Herron. Lee talks emotionally about working with Eamonn and what his legacy is for the football club, from where it was when he joined the club 17 years ago till now.
If you've ever been interested in how young players are found, developed and nurtured at one of the top Academies in the UK then this is the interview for you as Lee shares how social media plays a role in finding talent but the pitfalls for footballers in using it while still maturing as people. We also talk about how the Academy interacts with the first team and the role Jaap Stam is playing in developing the next generation of young players.

One point from two games may have seemed pretty good at the start of last week, but no goals and a hammering at Preston has taken some of the shine from our play-off push. We'll look at whether Reading can hold off a surging Fulham team, starting with a big game at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday.

It was a case of close but no cigar for Reading up at Huddersfield as our top two ambitions took a big blow but results elsewhere softened the landing. Valentine's Day is often associated with things going up and down.... delivery trucks full of flowers obviously.. Yet Reading themselves put on quite the performance against Brentford after a drab draw with Barnsley four days previously. We take the good, bad and the random from those two fixtures to try and figure out if we should still be looking up or down.
